I’ve been using a flat iron to straighten my hair for a long time and over the years I’ve used 2 different flat iron models. My first iron had two-inch metal plates that would tend to leave my hair dry, and the heat distribution wasn’t always reliable. My second iron was a one-inch ceramic model that did the job but would on occasion leave hot spots in my hair. I went to the Flat Iron Experts website and browsed through their selection of flat irons. They have a wide variety of flat iron and hair products to protect your hair from the heat of the iron.
I was very excited to use the KQC X-Heat Ceramic iron to see how it compared to other flat irons. It looks sleek, is built to feel very sturdy, and quickly reaches the heat setting, which is an important featureconsidering my busy schedule. I really like seeing the heat settings in degrees, which go up to 410 in this model, versus other models that have a setting that goes between 0-25. I first sprayed my hair with the KQC Thermal Shine spray to add a layer of protection and shine. The iron was light to work with and moved smoothly through each strand. It removed frizz and left a nice shine as I worked through my hair. I noticed that I was able to complete the straightening process much faster than with other models, and it handled moisture in my hair really well. Once I had completed straightening my hair I went back through to add a slight curl, which the iron did a great job with. The one-inch ceramic plate design allows me to maneuver through my hair with ease when I’m both straightening and adding curls. The KQC X-Heat Ceramic iron left my hair feeling soft, smooth, shiny and frizz free. Another great result was that my hair remained straight for more days, which is very important to me so that it doesn’t get over processed. Finally, the cradle that comes with the iron is a great way to store it so that it’s not tossed around in my drawer. I think the KQC X-Heat Ceramic iron is a great tool to have in my beauty arsenal and I definitely recommend it. So for all you women out there looking for a new flat iron or great hair products to protect your hair from the heat, I would recommend you check out the Flat Iron Experts website. They carry some of the best flat irons out there.
