Hypnosis Works
I've always wanted to try hypnosis because I've heard that it can do wonders and improve various aspects of your life. I read "Hypnosis: A Calmer, Newer, and Happier Existence" by Devin Bisanz, and it's made my decision to try hypnosis even easier. Hypnosis is essentially a way of "training" your brain. There's a lot of psychological trends that the author mentions in this book---it really helped me understand how these trends work. I also thought the tips and exercises that were included in this book were very helpful.

Meet Ray Ryan
I really enjoyed the story of Ray Ryan created by author Aiden Riley. Riley does a great job of introducing Ray Ryan as a young boy who must then overcome many tribulations to achieve his dream of being a famous writer. I liked the development of Ray's character as he is thrown from one situation to another, each experience a catalyst for shaping Ryan into the man he becomes. Each chapter is an installment of Ray's life with usually a few year's lag. It is when Ryan is eleven that he meets the love of his life, Anna. I also enjoyed the progression of Anna and Ryan's romance as the years pass. For a first time author, Aiden Riley writes a compelling coming of age story with reverent and recurring themes of love and loss.

Reflections Revisited
"Reflections Revisited" is a series of short essays written from the author's point of view on certain subject matters. Shailesh J Khatri reflects on matters such as the short comings of society, materialism, solitude, religion, education, crime, corruption and more. Very intelligently written, Khatri's essays are philosophical and full of wisdom. It is refreshing reading material that contains thoughtful prose, conveys intelligence and is relevant to today's circumstances. This was a great read, and I highly recommend it.

A Spiritual & Enlightening Novel
If you read the first book, "Armageddon," then you'll find this prequel, "An Adventure in Mysticism" contains many of the same principles, but explained even more in-depth. This prequel has the proper blend of spirituality, metaphysics, and high entertainment. I enjoyed the suspenseful fictional novel found in the first half of the book, which goes into detail about how Eric meets his wife, Kathy. I also enjoyed the second half of the book, which offers many Bible passages and their interpretation.
The author is great about providing metaphysical information and explaining their meanings. I'm a spiritual person so "An Adventure in Mysticism" is just up my alley. I'm a fan of Don Mardak's work, and I can't wait to read more.

A Young Adult Super Hero Series to Enjoy
This is an action-packed novel geared to entertain young adult and adult readers alike. Its hero is Michael Fleming, a teenage boy with special abilities. Although he has super powers, he is still a teenage boy that many young readers can relate to. J.P. Brewner crafts an exciting and well-narrated story that keeps you on your toes. It's the ultimate story of good versus evil. There's plenty of adventure and the writing is very detailed so you won't miss a beat.
Michael must uncover the Trifecta's secrets while finding out who the traitor is within the organization. I enjoyed the characters and the character development. I was completely hooked the moment I began reading this book. I can't wait to read the next installment in this series. Michael Fleming is my favorite new super hero!

New Epic Fantasy Series
I am a huge fantasy buff , and I’m always on the lookout for
a new book. I found this series and became instantly hooked. The Deathsworn Arc1 is the first book in a series of novels involving various mystical characters
in search of a dragon slayer. I would
say it’s very similar to The Hobbit where you have a dynamic group of humans, dwarfs,
elves, and a wizard traveling together towards a common goal. Or if you’re a
fan of Game of Thrones there are plenty of dragons in this book. However,
Deathsworn does have a unique story line involving a beautiful Empress and a
mysterious set of six heart stones that the group is asked to retrieve.
I enjoyed the overall story of the book, and I’m interested to
see how the group fares on their quest to return to the Empress. The book is
well-crafted, imaginative, and reading it was effortless. I enjoyed the
pictures at the beginning of the novel where the characters are introduced, and
the map of Torea. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this new fantasy
series.
